Mapping of choices

When you look at a map of any city you see different places and roads which connect those places. You see where a road starts and ends. Mapping something can be defined as showing the simple relationships and details between the elements of something you want to show.
What if you can map the choices you have made in the past? What if you can map choices you make in everyday life? You can see why you are “who you are” and see who you will be in the future from those mapped choices. This mapping of choices can show you a crystal-clear image and the gravity of the influence of daily choices and how they result in the kind of life you live.
Consider this psychological metaphor, a view of a small detailed map of choices you may experience in everyday life.
Try to imagine a map or a printed picture of the choices you made in the past. Slicing this down, consider the simple influence that made you choose different things in the past. Like your particular outfits, food, a particular type of friends, why you like to drink or not, and more. The past is stored in your brain as memories and is somehow alive in a passive way, that’s why it matters to you.
A neuro-circuit (is how the brain cells are connected to each other in order for you to retrieve and store information) happens when you are thinking, recalling some things, and trying to connect what you are reading.
To understand how this printed stored information of memories, thoughts, and choices in form of neuro-circuits can be, even though it is not possible to be seen in a literal way due to the current incomplete knowledge of understanding the brain; It is as treating the brain as a printer which can print out the choices you are making in relation to the previous ones for you to keep a track of where your choices are taking you in this unforeseen and unpredictable future regarding what is yet to be unfolded.
As a matter of fact, you may find that your printer is printing patterns you have no idea about. Because you are not completely aware of your all choices as you make them, some are made consciously and others unconsciously (or without being aware of them). This may be complicating things for you rather than explaining them but this is a hint, “life is understood better when you look in the past, to clarify: you identify the cause and consequences from your patterns of choices, that’s why future springs from the present, from the patterns of your choices; you may guarantee a comfortable future from the present choices you are making now.”
Your map of choices can be like a system that is composed of very complicated patterns with many overlaps, but which works in perfect order despite their complications. Various internet sources estimate that an adult makes about 35,000 remotely conscious decisions each day, not to mention other unconscious decisions. Every choice/decision carries its own advantage and disadvantage. Either you mind over it or not, it carries its own causes and effects.
Now imagine mapping a single day of choices, it can be a printed narrow track by which some of them can seem to be continuous and others may seem to be like the roots to others which will continue or stop as you keep making different choices or building from the roots. I hope you understand what I called a psychological metaphor.
According to the above metaphor, it might be possible that a choice you made 2 years ago on March 23rd in the afternoon can have something to do with you at this very present moment. If you can map the real detailed map of your choices from maybe 5 years ago, and you browse through it and analyze generally the choices you made every day or in a certain period of time, you can precisely see where you started to lose the balance of your inner self or your overall good of being. You can see why you are suffering from an unnecessary drama; you can see a big why of how you are embracing failures you are not supposed to be embracing. You can as well see where you were supposed to make a wise choice from the dual (good and bad) choices you had at the time that made you be where you might be now, which could be different if you have considered otherwise. You can be able to identify the patterns of where and how you started to confuse your goals due to the different needs you thought you needed and if you can keep analyzing that map you can see that the whole idea for you to change was not for the good, it was instead for personal satisfaction and you ended up confusing what you really needed from what you wanted. However, that is one side, the negative side of view.
In further analysis of your own map of choices you made, you can see where you made partial choices (here a partial choice can be like ‘a not fully made choice that was supposed to be made but you chose not to give it enough time) which still blossoms even now in the present, in a general view it may look like a source of water which is half covered. You can find that many of the positive attitudes you have are from those positive choices that seem to be half-developed/covered (maybe). I guess you can see what I am talking about here because behind these texts there is a reflection of personal reality you did and/or do experience.
Let us imagine that you kept analyzing the patterns and you found the big WHY! Like a why you did not make it at school or in your previous relationships and you got to know the why that bad habit is still in your life, and, you can obviously see that you kept feeding it for the past 5 years as the fire burns high when you feed it more logs.
Take your time to reflect on your own life, I tried to share some insights of how past choices can look like, take a travel back in time and browse in your own choices you made, you will get to see similar effects of what I mentioned, how we are nothing but the summation of our own very choices.
Map out your choices since the time you may desire, you will see how many things in your life ended happen the way they happened.
From now on try to see a choice as a package which contains your preferred results or consequences, the choice itself contains its end, so as you are about to make one remember that: “the end is contained in the beginning and make sure you understand a big part of the end from that beginning”.
The whole idea of mapping your choices is not to perfect your life as you live. Instead, it is to emphasize the point of making less of bad unpredictable consequences you may have later in the future.
Considering to make good conscious choices will lead to the preferable future and less of the so-called “accidents”. Accidents happen, that’s what everyone says. But if we look at the scale level of choices there are no such things as accidents, only possibilities, and probabilities folded into existence by perception rooted in conscious and unconscious choices. Either be miserable or a determined person is all about your choices.
