Message to my fellow Rwandans,

Most of us think of joining defense services as the only way of serving our country, but did you know that even doing your job with full devotion or paying your taxes on time is serving as well?

This country is ours. It belongs to none but us, Rwandans. It is our privilege as the young generation to keep building the legacy the older generation is leaving in our hands to protect.

As youth who live in this country, our connecting thread between one another should be strong to fight the odds of success in order to win at this stake. The future of this nation lies in our hands and no one else should understand that for us.

We have clear examples of how people fought for the peace of Rwanda. They have set the rope high, they rised the standards of being a Rwandese in the face of the world out of chaos.

We should keep the rope that high by joining the standards of the leading generation to deliver a safe and built country to the next generation to follow.

Wherever you are this country needs us. You are a particular brick to the development walls of our nation in various aspects. We should keep the good tension to keep a burning desire for the general good. Adjusting to this great momentum, we need flexibility and an open mind in order to seize the opportunities.

The pace to join needs endurance and high adaptability; leverage, and time are what we have to mind as a young generation.

Be ashamed to die until you have scored some victories for your nation. It has been said that “hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men and weak men create hard times”—We learned our lesson the hard way and quoting George Hegel “we learn from history so that we do not learn from history”.

Proudly Rwandan.
